HomeBuyer Survey
A HomeBuyer Survey report follows a set format. Our HomeBuyer Surveys are easy to follow and purposefully straightforward. If you are buying a fairly new property, or a conventional property which appears in good condition, or a recently converted flat, industry guidelines recommend you have a HomeBuyer Survey carried out.
Building Surveys
A Building Survey is more in depth and tailored to a building’s individual need. If you are buying an older property or you suspect the building may have some issues, knowing its faults and understanding the repair costs necessary can be incredibly valuable. Armed with a full Building Survey you will be able to negotiate a better purchase price on the property.
Furthermore, if you are selling a property, a survey report can allow you to identify any issues that may cause a sale to fall through; information which can inform better decision making, potentially saving you money.
Market Valuations
A Market Valuation provides a professional opinion of the value for a property with respect to the prevailing market at the date of valuation. We will objectively analyse and assess a number of factors which affect the property’s value, and consider the relationship between the buyers, sellers, investors and occupiers, to arrive at a current value. Our Market Valuations are thorough and fair and have been relied upon through many successful sales.
Specific Defect Reports
A Specific Defects report is used to assess a particular problem with the structure or condition of a property. The survey goes into similar detail as that of a building survey but only covers specific problem areas. They are great if you believe a property is in good condition except for certain concerning areas.
